Nichols Family Fun in the Park ~ Louisiana Family Photographer
Summer is winding down, school has started, and the temperature is dropping slooowwly… So why not celebrate with a little fun spent this summer in the park with The Nichols Family!! It’s always fun to get together with your own kinfolk and have a little photo shoot! When Whitney told me her photographer was retiring and she wanted some family shots, I jumped at the offer! I just love her and Jason, and there are no words to express the joy I have being around Emma and Anna! They are so entertaining ~ You’ll see ;)
I love how much Emma and Anna look like Whitney!! Not only does Emma look like Whitney physically, but her personality favors her as well! She’s so dang sweet and considerate, very polite! Now Anna, she’s the wild child!! And I love it!! She might look a little reserved in the above photo, but don’t let that sweet face fool you :) Now, let me say, she is an absolute sweetheart, and I just love that she has a little extra spunk in her!
I don’t do it on purpose, it has just become habit ~ saying Emma and Anna. You get one, you got the other! I’ve probably already said it two or three times already! So, that is exactly what spurred this following image…
I promised the girls that once we were finished with the regular session, we would do something silly and fun, but I had to save it for last cause it was a little messy…
They made a deal ~ "If I can blow glitter on you, you can blow glitter on me!” I think Emma was a little more nervous than Anna!
This is what you get post-sequins and glitter!
It was pretty dang hot, so the girls decided to cool off mom and dad in a less conventional way :) I absolutely love all four of these folks, and I am so glad I got to spend the afternoon with them!! Thanks Whitney and Jason, for allowing me to capture you and your silly girls! And thanks Emma and Anna ~ I appreciate you getting covered in glitter for me!! Love y’all!!
Bailee Audirsch, NWHS Senior 2016 ~ Louisiana Senior Photographer
I have to share another one of my Senior Reps! Bailee and I decided to start out on the farm, as we were in the same situation I was with Raleigh~ daddy had just rolled up the hay and we had to take advantage! This is one of my favorite shots… I just love how her natural beauty just glows! She is just radiant!
Our next stop was to hit the highway! I had been wanting to do this shot for a while, and thought it would be absolutely perfect for the right senior… cue Bailee! I love the contrast that you get from the innocence of the balloons and bare fee to the maturity of hitting the road on your own. She’s hit such an important crossroad in her life, and I love being able to capture that! This next one was just an impulse, and I told her all I can think is that she’s headed to Nashville! :)
I always try to showcase what means the most to my Seniors ~ my favorite thing is getting to know them during their session and allowing their personality to shine through! Being a cheerleader for the NWHS Knights is something that means a lot to Bailee and I love that you can see how much she supports her Knights!
Our last location we hit might be my favorite... my gosh I can't get over how beautiful she is!! This girl is killing it! You know, I think what makes it so much more killer for me is that she is as sweet as can be ~ hard to find that these days with girls that look like her! I never can express myself in words, so to show how much I enjoyed working with this sweet girl, I'll let the pictures do the talking! Thank you, Bailee, for allowing me to capture who you are ~ inside and out :) I can't wait to see what is in store for your future!
Raleigh Cooper's One! ~ Louisiana Lifestyle Photographer
This little fella is why I write blogs!! I had to share this awesome cuteness with the world! One thing I have learned in the previous few months ~ I have an obsession with baby feet! LOL I think I've already made that statement, but come on! Baby feet! Look at them!!
A few weeks ago, I got to spend the evening with this cutie, Mr. Raleigh Cooper from Sarepta, Louisiana. He brightened up my sweaty day! It just reiterates how much I love my job ~ how can you spend an evening capturing these moments and not be happy? I can't believe I get paid for this!
Shelaine contacted me about doing pictures to celebrate him turning one, and wanted to do a cake smash. Her only request ~ vintage baseball! You'll see that come into play further down ;)
Being a country girl, I love when clients request outside, fun and country shots. I had a few things in my mind, but the morning of the shoot, my dad was rolling up hay. I immediately messaged her and asked if we could do that! Heck yeah! Here's what became of it...
Can you handle it? I can't!! Look at him! The cool thing is his big brother, Micah, wore this for his first birthday, too!
When I was going through the shots, at first glance when I saw this one, I was like, "Love it!" When I actually fell into the image, I got lost in his laughter! Look at him!! One of my favorite things about Raleigh, is that he is just so full of joy all the time! All I got from him was laughter, smiles, giggles, and curiosity...
Look at that face! Hilarious!
This is one of my favorites... I love capturing moments like this ~ pure curiosity. I don't know if it was the dog, mom, or my dad in the field next to us baling hay that caught his eye, but I am so glad I got to witness it :)
After a good ole time on the ranch, we headed up to the ball field to smash a cake!! LOL I can't get over this ~ You never know what to do expect when a child gets handed a pile of sugary sweetness for the first time... Love? Hatred? Curiosity? I've seen it all LOL Here, you get to take a peek into the fun we had! A big thanks to Ashley Morgan with Lydia's Lovies for his Tie and Diaper Cover, and Lisa Park with Lagniappe Confections for this awesome cake!!
I have to end with one of my favorite shots of the evening... I love this. I would pay a million dollars to know what he's thinking :) Thank you, Shelaine, for allowing me to be a part of this!
